Katie Wallenhorst Katie is being recognized for 5 years of service at GRHC as a Registered Nurse, BSN in the ER. She previously worked on Med/Surg, and spent some time in the OB Department. She loves spending time with family and friends, and also enjoys traveling. She currently lives in Cuba City with her boyfriend, Nathan. She is fortunate enough to live in the same area as her parents and three siblings which allows her to spend a lot of time with them. Katie has two nephews: George and Henry and one niece, Malena. Molly Weigel Molly is a Registered Nurse and has been employed with GRHC for 5 years as the Clinic Manager. She is a CPR Instructor and has a certification in PEARS. In addition, she’s an EPIC Super User and completed her Leadership Residency through Rural Wisconsin Health Cooperative. Her joys outside of work include: yard work, bonfires, movie nights, traveling, and helping her children with their fair animals. Molly is always on the go running her kids to all of their activities. She is involved in the youth wrestling program in Platteville, a member of the St. Rose Catholic Church in Cuba City, and is active in the Dairyland Diamonds 4H Club. At Grant Regional she is a part of many committees including: Safety, Quality, Joint Commission Readiness Team, Tools Team, Medication Safety, and helps facilitate Core Clinic Meetings. Molly lives on a farm outside of Platteville with her husband Troy and their 3 kids: Dylan (11), Briggs (9), and Brielle (6). The boys enjoy football, baseball, and wrestling while Brielle enjoys soccer, gymnastics, and dance. Kim Wolf Kim began her employment at GRHC 5 years ago as an Accounts Receivable Specialist. She is a member of the Emergency Management Committee. When away from work Kim enjoys attending all of her children’s’ activities and going on walks. She is married to her awesome husband Rod for 15 years and they have four beautiful children: Erin (14), Jason (12), Megan (9) and Dylan (8). Penny Demert-Neal Penny has been a part of the GRHC team for 10 years. She is an Outpatient Department Nurse as well as Diabetic Educator. Previously she worked in Med/Surg, ER, OB, and many years ago in the Allied Home Care department. Penny is very involved in the Schools 4 Haiti program and serves as a Board Member. She is a Certified Nurse Educator. Interests outside of work for Penny include gardening, biking, walking, and her dogs. She has been married to Marcus for 28 years and they have sons Matthew (22) who will graduate fromOlivet Nazarene University in May 2019 with a BSN; and Jack (20) who is studying Communication/Public Relations at Olivet Nazarene University. The family is further comprised of Rosie, her old Chesapeake Bay retriever, Cosmos – her ugly, but sweet lap dog of unknown parentage; Snicker, the gray kitty with no tail, and Olive the fat calico cat that is lucky to have found a home. Janet Schauff Janet is being recognized for 10 years of service at GRHC as a PRN employee in the Dietary Department. Janet enjoys throwing parties for family and friends for special occasions, and the cooking and baking that go along with it She and her husband, Eric, have 2 children: Heidi (married to Trevor), and Ryan. Jamie Smith Jamie has been employedwith GRHC for 10 years as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). Jamie is active on committees at Grant Regional including: Co-chair of the Disney Process Team; Disney Communications and Care of the Partner; Disney Tools Team; Safety, Med Safety, and Cardiopulmonary Rehab. Jamie is the Treasurer for a non-profit group called the Dubuque Phlockers which does fundraising for charities in the tri-state area. She is a former member of the Cassville Lioness Club. Jamie has a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS. She is an official band groupie for the mighty Wheelhouse from Madison. An unofficial band groupie for various other musical talents such as The Eugene Smiles Project, A Pirate Over 50, Jabberbox, Bret Michael, and Wayne Newton. Jamie is a spectator of the great Milwaukee Brewers and Wisconsin Badgers as well as an armchair quarterback for the Green Bay Packers #gopackgo. She lives in Dubuque with her boyfriend Jason, daughter Whitnee (21), and Jason’s children Elliot (11) and Noah (10). She also shares her home with special pups Max, Luna, and Pearl. 10 Years
